LifeBio Memory Group Class – 12-Week Oral History & Life Story Program
Bring people together through stories, memories, and meaningful conversation.
The LifeBio Memory Group Class is a 12-week guided oral history and life story program designed for senior centers, community centers, libraries, retirement communities, and other organizations that want to help people connect and get to know one another. Each week, participants explore thought-provoking life story questions, photo prompts, and memory prompts that encourage conversation about childhood, family, friendships, work, traditions, important moments, and life experiences. The result is a fun, social experience where people share stories, listen to one another, and discover the experiences they have in common. (Please note: Some groups need to shorten the curriculum to 6 weeks or 8 weeks if necessary.)
A Program That Gets People Talking
LifeBio Memory Group provides up to 12 weeks of ready-to-use life story discussions. We send 16 LifeBio Memory Group booklets containing the materials needed for weekly group sessions. The guided questions and photo/memory prompts make it easy to get conversations started—even when participants don't know each other well. This is more than a class. It is a way for people to share their stories, build friendships, and create a stronger sense of community.
Perfect for Senior Centers & Community Programs
LifeBio Memory Group is ideal for:
- Senior centers
- Community centers

- Social and wellness programs
The program can be used with older adults or adapted for people of all ages who want to share memories and learn more about one another.
Easy for Organizations to Offer
The LifeBio Memory Group Class does not require a professional therapist or historian to lead it. A great discussion leader, good listener, and timekeeper can facilitate the sessions. Former teachers, activity directors, volunteers, community leaders, and experienced group facilitators can all be excellent leaders. Training is included to help communities and organizations confidently launch the program. The sessions are intentionally social, so the facilitator's primary role is to encourage participation, listen, keep the conversation moving, and help the group stay on track with each week's questions and activities.
Turn Memories Into Meaningful Connections
LifeBio Memory Group helps answer a simple question: What happens when people take the time to really get to know each other? They talk. They laugh. They remember. They discover shared experiences. And they often form connections that continue long after the class ends. With 12 weeks of engaging life story questions and photo/memory prompts, LifeBio Memory Group creates a welcoming environment for people to share the stories that have shaped their lives.
Give your community a meaningful way to connect—one story at a time.
